The Sweetest Valentine

What a wonderful surprise I got from my husband this Valentines Day. He made me a whole bouquet of these Hershey Kiss Tootsie Roll roses! I am so impressed by his craftiness that I cannot bear to eat them, (but I probably will).

The Cutest Booties Ever

I am still 3 weeks away from having Isabella, but how could I resist these little booties from Joujoux? I love that they are handmade and so obviously made with great attention to detail and lots of love.

These booties in particular are 0-3 months, but you can get them in other sizes and many other adorable styles. Shipping was super quick.

Want a pair for yourself....you can get an adult version of the Luella. I have already added it to my wish list!

Chickabiddybaby Goodness

I haven't posted in a while because baby Isabella tried to make her debut 8 weeks early on Christmas. I have since been on modified bed rest and have little time to tend to blogging.

The good news..baby is still on board, I'm back on my feet and here to tell you about more wonderful handmade items I have purchased just prior to the holidays.

*************************************************************************************

When I first saw this little lady I could not resist. Look at her sweet and peaceful face. I found this little gem at Chickabiddybaby.etsy.com This was the very first purchase I made for Isabella and I cannot wait to give it to her (although another 6 weeks would be nice). This unique little sock rattle measures about 6 inches and is so soft. There are also some sweet jingling bells, tucked safely inside.

I have of course added Chickabiddybaby to my favorites. Her customer service and communication were outstanding and I couldn't have been more pleased with my purchase. The Chickabiddybaby boutique has everything from these precious sock dolls, to burp rags to clothes. Be sure to stop by and take a look if you know any expecting moms-to-be.

Epicurious Market

I am so excited to post the very first review on Handmade A la Mode. Be sure to check back weekly for the latest handmade product reviews and finds.

Our very first review goes to Epicurious Market. Epicurious has it all; body butters, scrubs, lip balms, candles and of course luscious bars of soap. With scents like Sweet Orange Chili Pepper and Margarita this is definitely not your grandmother's soap!

I recently purchased the Bamboo Sugar Cane and the Lime Cilantro kitchen soap; both are fabulous. I have the Bamboo Sugar Cane in the shower. It is a nice light scent that does not over power you. Personally, this is a HUGE plus for me because I have some severe morning sickness and strong scents send me running. So, the Bamboo Sugar Cane gets an A+ in my book.

I keep the Lime Cilantro kitchen soap, in the kitchen (of course). Fresh and clean and large this is a bar of soap you can really wrap your hands around. Not only does this soap smell yummy, but is leaves my hands nice and soft. Another A+!

Epicurious Market gets 3 scoops from Handmade A la Mode. Be sure to check out all the wonderful ways to pamper yourself at http://epicurious.etsy.com
